Harold Stewart Harling

Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 88th year, on Saturday, November 10, 2007.

Predeceased by his wife Eleanor (1993) and his parents, Jesse and Emma (Eby). Father of Pat Coulter and her husband Doug of Elora, and Terrie Hutton and her husband Gary of Orton. Grandfather to Kyle Coulter of Golden, B.C. and Cameron Hutton of Banff, Alberta. Harold is survived by his sister Barb Groves and her husband Bill of Summerland, B.C. and brother Carl and his wife Dorothy of Cambridge.

Harold was a proud veteran of the Second World War serving with the Sherbrooke Fusiliers and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 126 Preston. Harold was born in Preston and was a life long resident. He worked for 43 years at Kralinator Filters in the purchasing department. Visitation for Harold will be held at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from 7 – 9 p.m. and Thursday, November 15, 2007 from 12:00 noon – 1 p.m., followed with the complete funeral service at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m.

Donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
