Ian Cameron

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family whilst sleeping on Sunday November 2, 2014 after a brief stay in Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Ian will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends. Adoring father to Eddie (Lynne), Jamie, Lisa, Kirsty (Alex), Catriona (Liban), Fiona (Yves), Nick, and his dog Bo. Dearly loved Grandad to Jordan, Mia and William. Brother of Aileen (Robert) and Uncle to Cameron and Ruth. Ian will also be remembered by his former partners and friends Joyce, Dorothy and Mona.

During his life, Ian thoroughly enjoyed reading, word puzzles, sampling the odd whiskey and roaming the fairways with his many friends. Forever telling a joke (whether good or bad) and sharing a laugh, Ian liked to live his life to the fullest, cherishing every minute spent with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Barthel Funeral Home, 556 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Ontario N3H 3J8 (519)-653-3251 on Friday November 7, 2014 at 3pm. A social gathering at The Fiddle and Firkin, 707 King Street, Preston, Cambridge, Ontario will follow the service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation or Princess Margret Cancer Foundation, Toronto, Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the family.
