Jill Winnifred Andrews, age 78, of Cambridge, Ontario passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. Predeceased by her loving husband Robert (1986). Loving mother of Jared Andrews (Beth), Deborah Baines (Tony) and Jonathan Andrews (Adrien). Devoted Nana of Cole (Sophie), Madeline, Karys and Cayden. Daughter of the late William and Winnifred Iliffe, she was a loving sister to Pauline Walker (Michael) and is predeceased by her sister Hazel Love.
Born in Cardiff, Wales, she grew up at the Cardiff Christadelphian Ecclesia until the age of 11. She emigrated to Canada with her family via ocean liner in 1958 and settled in Scarborough where she met Robert as a young teenager. Robert and Jill were married on May 2nd, 1970 and were blessed with 3 children. Robert passed away after 16 years of marriage leaving Jill to raise the family. She was a faithful widow for almost 39 years.
Jill was a devoted member of the Christadelphian faith. She was baptized at the Cosburn Avenue Ecclesia, which was her home Ecclesia from the age of 11 until January of 1990 when Jill moved the family to Cambridge to be closer to her extended family. She then attended the Brantford Ecclesia for the next several years where she made many new friends, until 2005 when Cambridge established its own Ecclesia. She dedicated her life to the service of her family, friends, and most importantly to God. She talked often about the coming Kingdom and the hope of the resurrection to come, which now she awaits.
Next to her faith, her family was everything. Jill hosted weekly Sunday dinners for the family and loved spending time watching her grandchildren grow up. Jill offered a lot of wisdom to her children about how to raise their own children. She was selfless, always considering others' needs before her own. Jill was a kind, lovely person with a heart of gold and a quiet inner strength. She was a rock to the family and will be sorrowfully missed.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 says, "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first".
