Joseph leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Norma Weier, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories. He was a devoted father to David, Marie (Steven Nitz), and Dan, and a proud grandfather to Samantha, Meghan, Keenan, and Rose. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sisters Katherine Baur (John) and Susan Patzak (Ernest – predeceased)
Joseph is now reunited with his brother, John Altmayer.
Joseph will be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As were Joseph’s wishes, cremation has taken place. His life will be celebrated privately by his family.
