With woeful sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Julia Alice Denny on Friday, May 13, 2016. She was born on September 9, 1955 to parents Ivan and Elora Baker and was the third of eight children. Beloved wife and best friend to Ken for 32 years. Loving Mom to Virginia (Doug) and Melanie (Phil). Special and proud Grandma to Alyssa Mercer and Myles McDougall. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Julia was born and raised in Cambridge, Ontario. She was a strong woman who survived many challenges with her health. She loved to spend time with her family. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the New Apostolic Church, 44 Portland Street, Cambridge on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 1:00 pm with the services led by Pr. Brian Ilnisky. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Kidney Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
