Lois is now reunited with her parents Clement & Anne and her sister Mary Lou Baumtrog.
She was the eldest of her siblings and will be missed by her brothers Michael, Clement (Carolyn), Richard & Ronald (Francesca).
She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, as well as her grand nieces, grand nephews and her good friends with whom she shared much laughter and many memorable experiences.
Lois attended St. Clement School (Preston) and St. Mary’s Catholic High School (Kitchener). Lois received an Honours B.A. in English from the University of Waterloo.
Lois and her sister Mary Lou lived and worked in Toronto. Their cozy home boasted lavish flower gardens which was a passion they equally shared and provided them with countless hours of pleasure. Much like the beautiful flower gardens, Lois’ heart was full of love and goodness.
She always enjoyed sharing a beautiful meal with her family and friends; dancing to ‘New York, New York’ by Sinatra. She also loved reading, long walks on the Sauble Beach shoreline and family outings where she could spend quality time with those close to her.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Lisa Hoorelbeck, her friend and caregiver for the kindness and support she provided to Lois during these past few years.
Thank you to the Doctors, the Emergency & ICU staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital and to Rob Heinz for his gentle guidance and prayers.
The world has lost a beautiful angel.
Lois you will always be loved and missed.
Rest in Peace
