Marija Slosel (1939-2017) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marija Slosel (née Kosi), a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and nanna. She passed away peacefully on January 16, 2017 in her home, cozy in her favorite blanket. She joins her beloved husband of 49 years, Bogomil Slosel (2012). Loving mother of Suzi Godard(J.C Godard) and Olga Slosel(Chris Hagey). Proud nanna of Elaina Hagey. She is survived by siblings Alojzia Badulak(Lucas Badulak), Anton Kosi and Janko Kosi. She will also be missed by her sister in law Antonia Bavdaz and nieces Miranda Bavdaz, Vera Meagher, Luba Badulak and Slava McIntyre.
A celebration of Marija's life is planned for February 11, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Barthel Funeral Home. Followed by a mass dedicated in her name on February 11, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
