Romana Jozefa Wrobel

Died peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on July 26, 2025, from age-related illnesses at the age of 90. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ignacy Wrobel (2012), her parents Marianna and Andrzej Rydz and her sister Halina Rydz.

She is survived by her brother Leslaw Rydz, his wife Elzbieta, her nephews Mariusz and Sebastian, and her niece Malgorzata together with grandnieces and grandnephews.

She is also survived by her brother Zbigniew Rydz, her niece Monika and her nephew Andrzej together with grandnieces and grandnephews.

We would like to thank the many wonderful people who were involved in Romana's care in the last years of her life first at home and later at Saint Luke's Place where she moved in December 2024. With much love and attention for Romana, we all ensured that Romana could live in peace, dignity and good health under sometimes difficult circumstances.

There will be no service in accord with Romana's wishes. Romana's remains will be put to rest in Rzeszow, Poland next to her beloved husband Ignacy later this year.

May she rest in rest in peace. Wieczny odpoczynek racz jej dać Panie a światłość wiekuista niechaj jej świeci. Niech odpoczywa w pokoju wiecznym. Amen.
