Born on April 19, 1926 in Beverly Township, Ontario and passed away peacefully with his wife at his side, at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Arthur, Ontario at the age of 90. Loving husband of Lorraine (nee Cutting) Moffatt with whom he would of celebrated 20 years of marriage with on December 7, 2016. Loving father of son Roger Moffatt, daughters Judi Moffatt, Sandy Miller and Pam Church and step-sons Steven and Barry Cooney. Russell was the proud owner and operator of the former Moffatt Tree and Stump Removal Service, formerly of Cambridge, Ontario. He was a member of Lakeside Church, Guelph. To honor Russell’s wishes there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A Private Family Graveside Service with Inurnment of cremated remains has taken place at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge, Ontario where Pastor Janet Collins officiated.
