Sandra Elaine Hyde

After a courageous 18-year battle with cancer, Sandy Hyde passed away on January 31st, 2016 at the age of 66. Sandy was positive, up-beat, and a real people-person. She could always put a smile on your face. She was a loving and nurturing Mom, Nana, and Great-Nana. She loved her previous position looking after children at the Fairview Mennonite Church Nursery School. Sandy was predeceased by her father, David Prine (2014), and her brothers-in-law Jim Steele and Jim Babb. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her Husband Rick Hyde, Mother Alma Prine, Children Christine (Rick) and Dwayne (Tracy), 7 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild, Sisters Brenda (Dave) Maile, Donna Steele, and Debi (Matt) Millard, Sister-in-law Carolyn, and many Nieces and Nephews. She is also survived by her life-long friend Jackie Holmes (Soul Sister), and numerous other friends. As per Sandy’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of her life will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Innisfree House, Canadian Cancer Society, or Cambridge Memorial Hospital Medical Daycare. The family would like to thank the staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital and the staff of Innisfree House for the care and compassioned they showed to Sandy.
