Stefan Klimt

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Trinity Village ( LTR), Cambridge, Ontario on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at age 88. Beloved husband of Janina Klimt. Loving father of Edward Klimt and Barbara Klimt. Dearly loved Dziadzi of Tyler Klimt. Survived by one sister Angela Janik of Poland, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Valentie and Fransceska Klimt, four brothers and 3 sisters. Long time resident of Cambridge, Member of Knights of Columbus, Past President of the Polish Alliance Club of Cambridge, Employee of Savage Shoes, Owner of Klimt T.V. and Radio and prior to his retirement had a successful career in Real Estate. Stefan’s passion was his loving family, helping others and was always busy with hobbies of fishing, big game hunting in Northern Ontario. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Ontario N3H 3J8 (519-653-3251). A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge at 11 am. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Prayers will be recited at the Funeral Home Tuesday evening at 8:30 pm.
