Passed away on January 3, 2012 at the age of 88 at The Westmount in Kitchener. Loving wife of the late Charles Elliott. Cherished mother of Heather (Bruce) Woodley and Craig (Mary Ellen) Budreau. Grandmother of Ian, Charlie and Emma. Predeceased by her 7 younger siblings. Stella was a life time member of King Street Baptist Church, an accomplished seamstress, worked for many years at K-Mart and dedicated a lot of her time volunteering at the Cambridge S.P.C.A. Honouring Stella’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Barthel Funeral Home (519-653-3251). The family wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to the kind and compassionate staff at The Westmount and at Fairview Mennonite Home. Those wishing to make memorial donations may do so to the Alzheimer Society or to the Cambridge S.P.C.A and would be appreciated by the family.
