Sylvia Ruth McArthur passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, January 26, 2019, in her 85th year.

Sylvia was one of the earlier members of Connections. (Ladies social group in VBA) She always enjoyed going on outings and trips with us. Sylvia was a very happy lady, always smiling and ready and willing to participate in our group's activities. We will miss having her with us and will miss her smile.

Sylvia has been part of the Village Quilters since moving to the Village by the Arboretum. We have all enjoyed Sylvia's sense of humor and stories of her many adventures in life. She especially loved her family and has made many quilts for great grandchildren. Our group would like to offer to finish the last two quilts she had to complete so that these kids can enjoy a tangible item of her love. Please call Karen. Sylvia will be greatly missed from our group.
