Passed away at the Campbellton Nursing Home at the age of 88, Mr. Ernest William Eagles.
Mr. Eagles was born in Wolfville, NS and left for NB at the young age of 19 to pursue a career in the theatre business, where he started as an usher and then became a projectionist at the Paramount Theatre for 25 years. He also worked at the Mountain Drive-in and the Capital in Dalhousie.
Mr. Eagles was an avid painter and was responsible for a lot of the signs on the front of Campbellton's small businesses.
He will be sadly missed by his beloved friend Francis Doucet, his children Barbara (Roger), Sally, Billy Junior and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his 3 sisters; Jackie, Mona and Barbara and his brother Russell.
As per his wishes, there will be no service or visitation at the Funeral Home.
