Ann was born on January 20, 1941 in Campbellton, New Brunswick to her parents the late Carl Cronkite and the late Norma McKinley.
She grew up in Campbellton and attended Sugar Loaf Senior High. At the age nineteen she married the love of her life, Arnold Firlotte. Together they raised two children, Steven and Stacy. As a devoted wife and mother she balanced family life with her work at Kmart and Soldiers Memorial Hospital, as well as being a steadfast and loving partner to Arnold throughout all of his endeavors.
Ann placed great importance on having fun in life. She loved getting together with friends, cheering on the Campbellton Tigers, laughing around the kitchen table and celebrating all of life's moments with those she loved.
Her golden years were enjoyed to the fullest spending winters with Arnold in Arizona and summers at their beloved second home in Broadlands overlooking the Restigouche River. There, among treasured friends and family, countless memories were made over happy hours, parties and precious time spent with her grandchildren Emma-Jane and Joshua.
Ann was deeply loyal to her friends and community. She always made time for a visit or a chat on the phone and the way she cared for others with a kindness and sincerity that will be remembered by all.
Ann is survived by her children Stacy and Steven, granddaughter Emma-Jane (Jeremy), her brother Randy, and best friend Dede, and extended family Mike, Lorainne, Andre, Lee and Brooklyn.
