

He was born on June 27, 1963 in Campbellton , NB to Phyllis Ferguson and David Babcock.
Brent attended Ottawa University and then returned home to help manage the construction of the NB Trail system. It was shortly after this he began his journey with Federal politics in Ottawa.
He worked on many portfolios, but ones that stood out for him were working directly with Joe Clark (Former Prime Minister) and Peter MacKay (Minister of National Defence) during the Afghanistan war.
Brent then returned home to Campbellton, NB to retire. He cared for his hometown community, he was president of the Salmon Festival committee and served a term as a city councillor. Also, he sat on chairs with the Charlo Airport and Port of Dalhousie until the time of his passing.
He was survived by his only brother Rodney Babcock . Also, he was immensely proud of his two surviving nephews Jordan and Liam Babcock. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his grandparents: (Viola Bolton /Austin Ferguson) (Molly and Adam Babcock).
Brent was a kind and giving person and when he could help someone he would. He will be sadly missed by his vast friends, the community and his family.
Respecting the family wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services at the funeral home.
