David Hachey Sr.

David passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on April 8, 2026, at the age of 79.

He was the beloved husband of Sharon (St-Laurent) Hachey.

He is survived by his children, David Jr. (Lucia) and Allan; his grandchildren, Melinda (Scott), Madison (Brady), and Hannah; and his three great-grandchildren, Félix, Benjamin, and Millie-Jay. He is also survived by his sister, Ethel (Hachey) Mercier.

He was predeceased by his parents, as well as several siblings and dear friends.

A Funeral Service for David will be announced shortly.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Manoir de la Vallée in Atholville, as well as his dear friend Ron Dubé, for the incredible care David received over the past two years. They would also like to acknowledge the compassionate care provided by the Palliative Care staff at Campbellton Regional Hospital.
