Graydon A. Irvine of Mann Settlement, Quebec passed away at the Rimouski Regional Hospital on February 27th, 2018 at the age of 83. Born on March 26, 1934, he was the husband of the late Mary (Butler) Irvine.
He worked for Canadian National Railway for 35 years and owned with his wife, Matapedia Valley Camping.
He is predeceased by his wife Mary and son Graydie (Esther - Mann Settlement)) and is survived by his 5 daughters Janice (Florida), Thelma (Gord - Cambridge), Cara (Gordon - North Carolina), Charlene (Florida), Christa (Montreal) and grandchildren Logan (Kitchener), Kyle (Calgary), Hiedi (Whitehorse), Scott (Mann Settlement), Mary (Cambridge). He is also survived by his sister Marina (Calgary), great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service was held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, Campbellton, NB on Saturday, March 3, 2018.
Active Pallbearers were grandsons Kyle Irvine & Scott Irvine, sons-in-law Gord Palfrey & Gordon Duffett, and nephews Jackie Lyons & Russie Irvine. Honorary Pallbearers were Alfred Harvey, Normie Lyons, Carl Mann, Glennie Irvine, Leonce Lavoie & Bill Mann.
Donations to Mann Settlement Graveyard Fund, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Research would be appreciated by the family.
