Born July 13, 1948, in Langen, West Germany, to the late John and Julie Wallintschek. Hilda came to Canada in 1952. Hilda was director of medical records and medical library from 1975 to 1993 at the Restigouche Hospital Centre. She died of cancer September 11, 2012 at the age of 64.
She leaves in mourning her husband James (Jim) Katan and son David of Campbellton.
At the request of the deceased there was no service. Cremation was carried out by Maher’s Funeral Home.
