Iris was born on June 18, 1946 in Bath, NB to the late Borden DeLong and the late Ruth Barrett.
Iris was a true homemaker at heart and there was nothing she enjoyed more than caring for others. She was also an avid believer in the health benefits of a brisk walk and rarely did she miss out on her evening walk.
Besides her husband Paul, she is survived by her children Michael(Leah) Schriver, Shelley (James) Ryan, and Jason Schriver (Jenna). She is also survived by her six cherished grandchildren Keegan Ryan Storey (MacKenzie), Blake Schriver, Darragh Ryan, Quinn Ryan (Noah), Ava Schriver and Seth Schriver . Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Avis and Barbara and her brothers Max, Allison, and Harold.
A Funeral Service for Iris will be held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton on Friday, February 28 at 2:00 pm.
The family will welcome family and friends at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St. Campbellton on Friday from 1:00pm until the time of the service.
A donation to the Canadian Cancer Society can be made in memory of Iris.
