I served with Jean-Claude in 5eRALC in Valcartier. I only have fond memories of our time there. He was one of the good ones. My sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

It is with my greatest regret and my deepest sympathies to the family of Claude , a man I’ve known all my life , he was a dear friend , school mate , we were in Germany together he in the Artillery in Fort Prince of whales, and I in Iserlohn with the Fort Garry Armored Corps, , we both were in Army cadets together , he was always there for anyone who was in need ! He will be missed by. Many who knew him ,, sadly I was and still recovering from a lung infection , so sorry I couldn’t pay my last salute to him and send him on his way to Soldiers heaven

You were a strong presence whenever you walked into a room for a reason, i always had great respect for the life you lived & the care you had for your loved ones.

Visiting my uncle in the summers was a cherished memory,  I will always remember our times spent together. You will be missed but not forgotten. ❤️

I was shocked and sorry to be told by my sister that Jean Claude had passed away last weekend. I remember the love you have for each other and know this will see you all through this difficult time. He was the love of your life, Jan, and you were his! I was privileged to have met you, friends with you since your beautiful children were in high school. Many an afternoon, we visited, chatted, laughed at each other and giggled like school girls.
