John Gilbert Mitchell

Born in Listuguj on March 9th, 1949, son of the late Gilbert Mitchell and the late Eva Mitchell.

He was a U.S. Marine Veteran, a councilor for addictions for the Military at Parris Island, SC.

John is survived by his partner, Jacqueline Dewey of Port Orange, FL, his daughters Stacy Lynn (Robert) Baerresen of Pace, FL, Kristina (Robert) Mitchell of Cocoa FL, Rebecca (Richard) Augusto of Auburn, MA, Katherine (Matthew) Vancil of San Antonio TX, Katie Mitchell of Campbellton, NB, Stephanie Mitchell of Campbellton, NB, Tara Mitchell; sisters Gail (Roger) Mitchell of Worcester, MA, Denise (Arthur) Caggiano of Listuguj QC; brothers Peter Mitchell of Listuguj, Guy Mitchell, Donnie (Denise) Mitchell, Robin (Joanne) Mitchell, Kelly Mitchell, Lyman Mitchell; grandchildren Jordan, Rylie, Blaze, Richie, Skyla, Giana, Max, Logan, and Colin; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Baby Donald, Michael Stuart, his sister June, and his granddaughter Haley Carolyn Jean.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
