Margaret Lillian Petrie

Margaret was born on November 5, 1939 in England to the late Phillip Rauchwerk and to the late Lillian Cooke.

Margaret was a devoted Christian who enjoyed volunteering in many organizations. She was president for both the ACW and WI. She loved knitting, sewing and crafting of all kind. Her children and grandchildren were very much cherished in her life. A huge passion of Margaret and Les was to travel abroad.

she is survived by her children David (Christian), Petrie, Deborah (Gary) Downs, Michael (Tammy) Petrie. Her sister Dorothy Rauchwerk. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Melissa, Katelyn, Shannon, Michaela, Amanda and Aidan, along with 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predecease

d by her husband Les, her sister Valerie and her parents.

A Funeral Service for Margaret will be held at Christ Anglican Church on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 11:00 am.

The family will welcome family and friends at The Christ Anglican Church on Monday from 10 am until time of service.

Contributions in Margaret’s memory can be made to the Christ Church Anglican.
