

Paula Gallie of Glencoe passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on April 2nd, 2017 at the age of 72. Born in Miramichi on November 28th, 1944, she was the daughter of the late William McLean and the late Theresa (Walsh) McLean.
She worked as an RNA at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital and later retired as a Lab Tech Assistant from the Campbellton Regional Hospital. She was a Member of the St Anthony's Church Council, as well as a Girl Guide leader, enjoyed volunteering and helping others. She also was an avid Toronto Blues Jays Fan and Toronto Maple Leafs Fan.
Left with fond memories she is survived by her husband Kenneth Gallie; her daughter Patti (Doug) White of Flatlands; her son Steven Gallie of Fort Nelson BC; her grandchildren Jacob, Mackenzie and Calvin; sisters, Jeanne (Terry) Hamilton of Bedford NS; Eleanor Blacquier of Miramichi; brothers, Alman (Rita) McLean of Oromocto; Loran (Jessie) of Quispamsis; Richard (Shirley) McLean of Saint John and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister Joanne McLean and brother Joseph McLean.
Funeral Service will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Campbellton on Thursday April 6th, at 11:00 am. Reception to follow at the Glencoe Community Center.
Visitation at the Maher’s Funeral Home, 33 Lansdowne on Wednesday April 5th from 2-4 and 7-9.
Donations can be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or SPCA Dalhousie or to the St. Anthony's Church, Glen Levit.
