He was the son of Ernest [Emmanuel (Manue)] Diotte and Bernice Scott.
Murray is survived by his wife Jean Woods, his son Dwight [Irmgard] Diotte and 3 grandchildren, Veronica Zahaar, Jessie Boekelder Diotte and Carlos [Femke] Luschen, his sisters Gen Duguay and Nadine Briggs and many nieces and nephews. Murray was predeceased by his parents, his son James Diotte and Carmen Luschen, his brother Richard [Dick] Diotte and sister-in-law Marjorie Diotte.
Murray lived a full life and travelled throughout Canada and extensively in Europe. He worked in a pulp mill in Quebec, a mine in British Columbia and flew helicopters in Niagara Falls. He taught boxing and opened several gyms as well as promoted several boxing matches. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. He was an interesting storyteller and always had a joke to tell.
We wish to extend a special thank you to Murray's niece, Ashley-Rose Brown, for all her help during this difficult time.
May Murray rest in peace.
