Roland Gallant

Born in Campbellton on December 9th, 1939, he was the son of the late Alexis Gallant and Jeannette Tremblay.

He worked for AV Cell in Atholville for approximately 36 years and drove taxi for several years. His favorite pastime was playing golf, watching sports and spending time with family.

He is survived by his daughters Michelle Gallant and Lisa Dionne (Alan Dionne), his brother Claude Gallant, his grandchildren, Candice Brown, Shana Brown, Taylor Dionne and Nathan Dionne. He also had 4 great-grandchildren; Ellie, Arielle, Paisley and Madyson. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his two sisters, Louise Gallant and Claudette Aubé.

For those who wish, donations can be made in his memory to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Funeral Service will be held at the Maher’s funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton on Friday September 2nd at 3:00 pm and visitation will be from 2 pm and until time of service at the Chapel.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Décédé à l'Hôpital Régional de Campbellton le 31 août 2022 à l'âge de 82 ans, Monsieur Roland Gallant d'Atholville.

Né à Campbellton le 9 décembre 1939, il était le fils de feu Alexis Gallant et de feu Jeannette Tremblay.

Il a travaillé pour AV Cell à Atholville pendant environ 36 ans et chauffeur de taxi pendant plusieurs années. Son passe-temps favori était de jouer au golf, de regarder des sports et de passer du temps avec sa famille.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses filles Michelle Gallant et Lisa Dionne (Alan Dionne), son frère Claude Gallant, ses petits-enfants, Candice Brown, Shana Brown, Taylor Dionne et Nathan Dionne. Il avait également 4 arrière-petits-enfants ; Ellie, Arielle, Paisley et Madyson. Outre ses parents, il a été précédé par ses deux sœurs, Louise Gallant et Claudette Aubé.

Un service funéraire aura lieu à la Chapelle funéraire Maher, 64 rue Lansdowne, Campbellton, vendredi le 2 septembre à 15h00 et les visites auront lieu à partir de 14h00 et jusqu'à l'heure du service à la Chapelle.

Les arrangements funéraires sont confiés à la Maison funéraire Maher, Campbellton.
