Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on August 30, 2011 at the age of 94, Mr. Valmore Joseph Guidry. Born in Campbellton on July 5, 1917, he was the son of the late Peter Guidry and the late Derilda Martin.
He leaves to mourn his children Allan Guidry of Campbellton, Stephen Guidry (Karen) of Wilmot, NS, Penny (Peter) Edmunds of Tide Head and Jody Guidry of Vancouver, BC, sister Dora Allard of Nouvelle, QC. Also survived by his 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Vera Charlong, sons Gregory Michael and Keven Peter Guidry.
A funeral service will be held from Maher’s Funeral Chapel Campbellton on Tuesday September 6th at 11am. Interment at the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery Campbellton.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton.
