Vernon was born on September 28, 1953 in Dalhousie, NB to the late Opal Mallaley and the late Donat Carrier.
Besides his partner, Germaine, he leaves behind his sisters and brothers. Other than his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Donald Carrier.
