Viola "Vie" (Dewar) Smith

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 13th, 2018 at the age of 89, Viola Georgina (Dewar) Smith (Vie) of Glen Levit who resided at Charlene's Special Care Home, wife of the late Archibald MacDonald Smith.

Viola will be lovingly missed by her children Bell Thompson (Rev. Gordon) Grand Bay-Westfield, James, Fredericton, Leslie (Laurene) Amherstview, ON, Lois (JC) Truro NS, Marguerite Theriault (Louis) Glen Levit. She will also be lovingly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sister Betty and brother Tom. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews and many friends. Her brother Dave passed away within two hours after her. Viola was predeceased by her husband, her parents Daniel and Marguerita Dewar, sons Danny, Ronnie, daughter Pauline, infant granddaughter Mary Lilia, brothers Roland, Kenny, Billy and sister Shirley.

Funeral service to be observed Monday, February 19, at 2 pm from Maher’s Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St, Campbellton.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, February 18th from 2-4 and 7-9 and on Monday at the Chapel from 12:300 until time of service. A reception will follow at the Glen Levit fire hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the Donor's choice.
