Wanda Isaac Wysote

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Wanda "Doucie" Mae Wysote Isaac, who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 65 in Campbellton, New Brunswick. Wanda was born on April 2, 1961, in Listuguj, Quebec, to the late Chief William Jack Jegops'n Wysote and Nellie Larocque Wysote.

Wanda was a talented and creative woman who pursued her passion for beauty and fashion by attending fashion school and working as a hairstylist and aesthetician. Through her regalia and beadwork, she shared her love of Mi'gmaq culture and traditions with her children and grandchildren.

Above all, Wanda valued her family. She is lovingly remembered by her partner, Richard; her children, Darla, Jonathan (Sabrina), and Marcy (Marc-André) and her cherished grandchildren, Serena, Makayla, Kalub, and Avianna.

Wanda was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Mark. She is survived by her siblings, Wilfred "Moley", Timothy "Timbo", Ruth (Warren), and John (Dawn), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Wanda will be remembered for her creativity, her strong connection to her family, and the pride she took in sharing her talents with those she loved. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Service for Wanda will be held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton on Friday, September 25 at 4:00 pm.

The family will welcome family and friends at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St. Campbellton on Friday from 3:00pm until the time of the service.
