Alberta Louise Alfi

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Mimi, Gam Gam, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who left us on March 30, 2025. Born in Kansas City, Missouri on March 15, 1933.

Alberta, lovingly known as Abby, was a beacon of love, generosity, and kindness throughout her life. She is preceded in death by her husband Sal, her parents Frank Fuqua and Louise Hamilton and her sister Shirley Roberts, and brothers Robert Fuqua and Ernie Fuqua.

Abby was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her brother Frank, her daughter Melissa, her granddaughters Nicole and Madi and her great granddaughter Brinley, nieces Brandi Legaurd, Liz Strickland, and Terri Crawford. Abby loved family gatherings, and holidays shared with loved ones.

Abby worked on Wall Street in Manhattan before marrying her husband Sal of 45 years. She really enjoyed working beside her husband volunteering at St Patrick’s 50+ Club, the Knights of Columbus #799 and the American Legion. She was known for her delicious Italian dinners that she would bring to different events. Cooking was her passion.

We invite friends and family to join us in celebrating Abby’s life at St Patrick Catholic Church on May 7th, 2025, at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Knights of Columbus Council 799 in Sal and Abby Alfi’s memory.

Rest in peace, dear Abby. You will be missed more than words can express but never forgotten.
