It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Anna Maria Velasquez on April 11, 2017 in Carrollton, TX. She was born to Vicente and Hortencia Camacho on July 13, 1935 in McAllen, TX. She loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending time with them as much as she could. She also enjoyed in her spare time playing bingo and making visits to the casino. Anna was a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Pablo; son, Carl; daughter-in-law, Renee; grandchildren, Jacob and Jessica; sister, Beatrice and brothers, Elizalde, Freddie, Severo, Valde, Jesse and Joe and other extended family and friends. A Visitation will be held at Metrocrest Funeral Home on Monday April 17, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her honor at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 10:00 am. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
