Most knew her as Bonnie Rauchwerk Mullaney, only a special few called her Gram, and anyone brave enough called her Chicken Legs, age 78, passed away peacefully April 30, 2021. She was born February 25, 1943 to Bernard and O’leta Rauchwerk.
She leaves behind a very dysfunctional family that she was very proud of. Bonnie was world-renowned for her lack of patience, not holding back her opinion and a knack for telling it like it is. She always told you the truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. It was the school of hard knocks and yes we were told many times how she had to walk for miles in a blizzard to get to school, so suck it up. With that said she was genuine to a fault, a pussy cat at heart (or lion) and yet she sugar coated nothing. Her extensive vocabulary was more than highly proficient at knowing more curse words than most people learned in a lifetime.
She liked four letter words as much as she loved Diet Coke and Oreo cookies.
Everyone always knew where you stood with her.
She made the best cinnamon rolls, better than Cinnabon hands-down. The only rival to her sweet baked goods was her famous Fruity Chicken that fed family, friends and many Mormon missionaries. In 1980, Bonnie joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As her faith grew so did her passion for family genealogy. Over the years, Bonnie’s diligent pursuit found ancestors dating back to the 1700s. She was very proud of her accomplishments and often shared her best practices through teaching others to grow their family trees.
She will be sorely missed and survived by her children: Diane Binette, Tom Mullaney, and Susan Fuller, son-in-law Roland Binette grandchildren: Amanda, Katherine, Christopher(Diane), Nathan(Tom), Kayla, Nicholas, Hannah (Susan)and Stephanie (adopted by all) great-grandchildren: Izabella, Gabriella, Emma (Katherine), Liam, Logan, Declan, Dean (Kayla), Isaiah (Nicholas),
Olivia (Hannah)
