She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. She was a lifelong member of East Dallas Christian Church.
For many years, Connie was a Quality Assurance Representative for the U.S. Government. Her responsibility was to investigate airline and helicopter crashes. In later years, she loved orchestrating estate sales, especially for the elderly. Connie’s passion was helping people and she did so generously.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon D. Saunders, Sr. and Georgie Humphries Saunders. Her brother Gordon D. Saunders, Jr. (Doug) preceded her in death also.
Surviving her is her sister Judy (Ted) Yamamori and her niece, Kelli and nephew Steven. She is also survived by two great nieces, Lily and Tegan, and a nephew, Zackary.
A private graveside service will be held to honor her memory.
