

Dan Wallace Hulsebus was born on January 9th, 1953 in Hendricks, Minnesota to Wallace and Betty Hulsebus. He grew up on the farm alongside his four sisters: Mary Jane, Lavonne, Doreen and Iann. Shortly after graduating from Deubrook High School in White, South Dakota in 1972, he married his wife Debra in 1974. Their journey of 47 beautiful years together began on the farm in South Dakota and then transitioned to Texas. While in Texas, they raised their two children, Dawn and Derik and he worked primarily as a car salesman for 26 years.
Dan will be remembered as a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather and a loyal friend. He loved the Lord and faithfully served as an usher at Freedom Church until he was called Home. He loved to grill, go on vacations to Galveston, Ford Motors, John Wayne, John Deere, the Dallas Cowboys, and the New York Yankees. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his sister Mary Jane Hulsebus and his father Wallace Hulsebus.
He is survived by his wife Debra, his children Dawn and Derik, his daughter-in-law Kayci, his grandchildren Kaeyla, Lincoln and Roman, and his mother Betty.
