Emo, Hak Sun Lee, was born on December 14, 1940, and passed away at 83 years old on November 15, 2024. She had been diagnosed with various medical ailments. After a 6-month terminal prognosis, she survived 4 more years. Emo was blessed with an independent fighting spirit, and a loving family. Emo is now an angel at rest, and her smile will forever live in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kyu Chan Lee, and sisters: Peggy Johnson, Hui Sun Silvany, and Pyon Sun Booge.
She is survived by her sister, Hee Boon Park (residing in Korea), chosen son Chong Johnson, and several nieces and nephews throughout Texas, Minnesota and Korea.
We love you, Emo, and will miss you dearly!!
