Marie Alina Lee

(March 18, 1940 – November 26, 2024)

Marie A. Lee was born March 18, 1940 in Austin, Texas and passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 26, 2024. She was the eldest child of Florence Warren and Ramiro Gonzalez, and was always considered one of the kindest people anyone had ever met. Most people would have considered her a princess, she lit up the room with her smile and her personality.

Marie’s life was considered a journey of love, service, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. She gave hope and happiness to any person she touched.

She married her first husband Kenneth J. Allen whom she preceded in death and had one daughter named Angela R. Allen, whom she cherished dearly. Angela has two children Cory Kyle-Lee Allen (36) and Brandon Ray Allen (34).

Marie will be greatly missed by her daughter Angie Allen, her two grandsons Cory and Brandon Allen, her youngest brother Mike Gonzalez, her sister-in-law Carol Roberts, her niece Skai Roberts, her cousins Herman Gonzalez and his wife Karen Gonzalez, Gloria Ramirez and her belated husband Ray Ramirez, Carlos Gonzalez and his wife Yvonne Gonzalez.

Marie is preceded in death by both of her parents, her middle brother Ray Gonzalez, and her first husband Ken Allen, and her dearest cousin Yolanda Gonzalez.

There are just not enough words to share or describe how amazing Marie was and her unexpected passing will forever leave a void in the hearts of her loved ones. We will all remember her by her love for painting and hearing the birds sing songs aloud.
