My brother Scott was 9 years older than me.  He was a huge part of my life when I was a child. He cared for me, and was there for me in a way that my parents were not.  He always had a sense of humor and enjoyed playing tricks on his little brother. I looked up to him and attempted to be like him.   He loved to sing opera up in his room.   I loved him deeply and was heartbroken when he went to college.    He was a deeply caring person even as a young man.   We did lose contact with each other with family and distance intervening.  We reconnected  in 2012 and I have visited regularly since 2016.  I am very blessed and grateful to have had these last few years together.   I love him very much and will miss him.    The picture is Scott in 1965 along with me and our brother Justin.
