Stephen Ryan, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 6th, 2024, leaving a legacy of love, service, and joy. He was the devoted husband of Charlene Ryan for 51 wonderful years, a marriage filled with laughter, love, and shared memories. Together, they raised two children: Michael Ryan and Kristen Heslin, who were the lights of his life. Stephen was also the proud grandfather of four cherished grandchildren.
Stephen served his country with honor as a Navy pilot, displaying courage and commitment throughout his military career. After his service, he continued his passion for aviation in the avionics industry, where his expertise flourished. Later, he found a new calling in education, sharing his strong math skills with high school students, inspiring and guiding them in their learning.
Known for his sharp wit and zest for life, Stephen embraced every moment with joy and enthusiasm. His laughter, warmth, and love for those around him will be remembered by all who knew him.
Stephen’s ashes will be placed at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, he would prefer that you spend extra time with those you love, as family was always his greatest treasure
