SACATON - Anthony Ronald Cooper, 60, of Sacaton died on Oct. 18, 2016, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.Mr. Cooper was born on Feb. 20, 1956, in San Francisco to Arnold and Lurline Cooper. He was a hardworking man with a fun personality. He spent the majority of his life working to provide for his family; he began working before he graduated high school. He was devoted to his family and loved being a grandfather. He was a smart, quiet man but always made time to visit with his friends and family. He was an avid Cardinals football fan and played the guitar, loving Jimi Hendrix and Neil Young. He was known for his kind heart and loving spirit.He is survived by a daughter, Jessica Cooper; a brother, Gary Cooper; three sisters, Kathy Jose, Doreen and Elaine Cooper; and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dolores Robles; a daughter, Jennifer Cooper; and a brother, Adrian Cooper.The wake will begin from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton and will continue at the Cooper home, 109 Cactus Road in Sacaton. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Mission by Monsignor Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery in Santan.J.
