About

With five locations, J. Warren Funeral Services cares for families with a personal, local touch. Serving Pinal County for nearly 75 years, our team members are your friends and neighbors. We’ve been here our entire lives, growing and changing right alongside you. While embracing innovation and staying ahead of trends, the principles on which our family business was founded remain unchanged: honor, dignity and compassionate care.

J. Warren Funeral Services Mountain View Chapel & Crematorium and Casa Grande Mountain View Cemetery are the only funeral home and cemetery combination in the county. Working together, we help families with every aspect of their final arrangements in one trusted location. We’re also the only provider that owns and operates its own crematory and do not transport loved ones out of the county for cremation.

Personalized memorials and multicultural services

At Mountain View Chapel & Crematorium, we believe every service should be as unique as the life it honors. Our caring team takes the time to get to know your loved one’s story, designing a gathering that brings people together to share memories, find comfort and say goodbye in a way that feels personal and heartfelt.

Perhaps it’s a barbecue in honor of the pit master, complete with bottles of homemade sauce for guests to take home. Maybe it’s a garden-themed party with a butterfly release. It could be a grand celebration of life with live music and more or a simple ceremony that reflects your family's culture and traditions in significant and special ways.

No matter your wishes, no matter the detail, we're here to take care of it all—so you can focus on what matters most. From floral arrangements to decor to catering, we guide you through your choices with care.

Cremation in Casa Grande

Signature Dedication at Palm Cheyenne MortuaryMountain View Chapel & Crematorium specializes in cremation and cremation memorials. With a private crematory, the ability to host witness cremations, expertise in scattering ashes and a team experienced in cremation memorialization, we provide service that is second to none.

More and more people are choosing cremation over traditional burial, but most aren’t familiar with all the choices:

  • a cremation without a funeral or memorial service of any kind.
  • a funeral with your loved one present, followed by cremation.
  • a cremation followed by a scattering, cemetery memorialization or celebration of life—or all three.

There are many cremation providers in Pinal County. Here’s what you can expect when you choose Mountain View Chapel & Crematorium for your loved one’s cremation:

  • Custody of care guaranteed. Our identification pendant and custody-of-care program help safeguard the identification of your loved one.
  • Exclusive custody of your loved one. Once your loved one is in the care of a Dignity Memorial® provider or trusted partner, they’re in our care until they’re returned to your family.
  • Licensed, certified, conscientious staff. All Dignity Memorial crematorium operators in Arizona are licensed and certified by the Cremation Association of North America, or CANA. Unless there are special circumstances and your family has requested otherwise, only one person at a time is cremated. Additionally, the crematorium chamber is thoroughly cleaned before the next person is cremated.

Four generations of history

When Janet Warren’s father first took ownership of Eloy Valley Chapel in 1953, he couldn’t have known that someday his great-grandchildren would carry out his legacy of service rooted in care, dignity and commitment to their neighbors through funeral homes, crematories and a cemetery serving families throughout Casa Grande, Coolidge, Eloy, Maricopa and Ajo.

Janet married Eloy native Jerry Warren, who earned a mortuary science degree, and the couple took over her father's business. Together, they grew the company, acquiring local funeral homes and developing new facilities to better serve the evolving needs of the region.

Here's how that's looked in the last 25 years:

  • 2000 – J. Warren Funeral Services began operating Mountain View Cemetery in Casa Grande.
  • 2002 – Purchased Douglass Funeral Home in Ajo.
  • 2004 – Opened The Gardens Chapel, designed to accommodate large events, at the memorial park.
  • 2009 – Added the county’s only state-of-the-art crematory at Mountain View Cemetery.
  • 2013 – Developed Serenity Gardens, featuring a cremation garden, columbarium, granite pavilion and water feature.
  • 2013 – Built Memory Gardens Reception Hall, a versatile, 1,900-square-foot event space perfect for celebrations of life, weddings, christenings and corporate events.
  • 2024 – Became part of the Texas-based Dignity Memorial network, with the Warren family continuing to operate each location day to day.
