Anthony enjoyed serving the community, and his presence was felt most in the simple, meaningful ways he showed up for others. He especially loved gatherings and socializing with people, valuing time spent in conversation and connection.
Anthony is survived by his siblings Emily, Loretta and Nicholas Murrietta. He was preceded in death by his parents Virginia Cruz and Andrew Murrietta, and ten siblings: Leonard, Lucy, Mike Sr., Angelo, Andrew Jr. Mark, Clifford, Leo Murrietta, Loraine Domingo and Rose Lopez.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pisinemo Feast House, Pisinemo, Az. With a Funeral Mass held at 3 p.m. The burial will follow at Pisinemo Cemetery, Tohono O'odham Nation.
