Born in Ewing, Neb., to Z.H. and Margaret Fry. She married Dale Napier in 1946. They moved to Coolidge in 1967. She was a secretary for the Coolidge Chamber of Commerce for a year and in 1969 went to work at the Central Arizona College library, continuing for 23 years until her retirement.
