Catherine A. Zepeda, 81, of Sacaton, died March 19, 2022. She was born July 11, 1940, in Sacaton, Arizona to Juan E. Antone and Christina Woods. She pioneered the auxiliary for the Ira Hayes 84 Post and served as President. Catherine was a loving and caring person, who enjoyed rodeos, crafting, sewing and music. She was a huge sports fan. Her favorites teams were the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Phoenix Suns. She was the matriarch of the family and will truly be missed. She is survived by her long-life companion, Fernando Nandez, 3 sons, Henry Zepeda Jr., Anthony Zepeda and Steven Zepeda, and a daughter, Carmen Zepeda, her sisters Corrine Jimenez, and Sharon Manuel. She had 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Michael Zepeda, a daughter, Baby Zepeda, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
