A talented basket weaver, Daisy skillfully crafted beautiful pieces using horsehair and yucca. She had a warm spirit and cherished time spent with family and friends. Music and dancing brought her joy, and she enjoyed the evenings outdoors. Her passion for shopping was well-known among her loved ones.
Daisy is remembered by her children: Marlene, Veronica, Rico, Bernadette, Eldred, Herman, Shaylene, Nellie, and Julio, along with 52 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and four sisters.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 106 E. Ash Ave at 4 p.m. Casa Grande, followed by an all-night wake at Ventana Village. A Mass will be held starting at 6:30 p.m. The graveside service will take place at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Ventana Cemetery, located on the Tohono O'odham Nation.
Arrangements are under the care of J. Warren Funeral Services. Daisy's presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
