COOLIDGE - David Larry "Dave" Harrington, 75, of Coolidge, a longtime Pinal County law enforcement officer, died on Oct. 19, 2018, at home, surrounded by family.Mr. Harrington was born on May 12, 1943, and was a son of Alvie and Pauline Harrington. He attended Casa Grande schools and enjoyed playing football and running track. He served briefly with the Casa Grande Police Department before joining the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office. He retired in 1993 after serving more than 26 years and being a supervisor in investigations.During retirement he was elected and served three terms as the Pinal County constable for Precinct 1. He also performed handyman services and satellite television installation for many in the community. He enjoyed fishing, reading and spending time with friends in the mountains of Arizona.He is survived by a son, Jeff Harrington of Alexandria, Virginia; a daughter, Kathy Hursey of Coolidge; his life companion of 26 years, Bonnie Buntura; a brother, Ralph of Ohio; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beth Ann Harrington.Graveside service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, in Eloy Memorial Park.J.
