MARICOPA - Elizabeth Johnson-Griffin, 61, of Maricopa died on July 24, 2014, at home.A private service is planned.Ms. Johnson-Griffin was born on Feb. 14, 1953, in Jackson, Mississippi, and was a daughter of Vernon Johnson and Edith Waddle. She was a homemaker and was devoted to her family. She had a loving heart and liked to play bingo, go to casinos, sew and do crafts.Survivors include two daughters, Louenda Wells and Ira Monroe of Comanche, Texas; a son, Sharlow Monroe of Anaheim, California; three sisters, Kathy Imes and Judy C. Smith of Maricopa and Mary Louise Carey of Magazine, Arkansas; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Griffin, and a granddaughter, Jazmine Monroe.J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
