He attended grade school in Sacaton, where he was a member of the Jets Sacaton Team. George attended boarding school at Sherman Indian High School and played many sports. As a young adult he worked for AZ Tannery, a conservation corp. His primary responsibility was to raise and care for the cattle, horses and irrigate the fields. He held many positions within the Gila River Indian Community at the Farms, Community Housing, Community Services Department and various positions in carpentry throughout his life.
George enjoyed traveling, rodeo, training his horses, and spending time with his friends and family. His biggest joy was time he spent with his wife Charlene, his children, and grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his mother, Winona Pratt, father, Samuel W. Pratt Jr., Sisters Leola Pratt, Ruth Ann Pratt, and Andrea Pratt. He is survived by Wife Charlene Fiddler-Pratt, daughters, Rachel Hernandez and La’ Meisha Pratt, and son, Nathan Hernandez. His sisters, Ellen Pratt and LaQuinta Pratt, and Brother, Samuel Wallace Pratt III.
