Mr Salazar was a son of Fidel and Isaura Armenta Salazar. He served in the Air Force, received a bachelor degree in Spanish from Loras College in Iowa, and a masters degress in Spanish from University of Wisconsin. He ws an asst. professor at W.I.U., and a professor of religion at the U of A.He was devoted to his son and grandchildren, enljyed family gatherings and cooking.
