Cody was born in Olympia Jan. 11, 1992. He was an active soldier in the Army at Fort Campbell, Ky., in the 187th infantry regiment, "The Rakkasans."
He enjoyed working on cars, target shooting, helping others, and most of all, spending time with his son.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jayden; and 10 siblings.
A memorial service is planned from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at the McClelland Arts Center in Longview. Private viewing and burial will be held for immediate family members in Centralia and Chehalis.
